Our function rooms are available to hire for a wide range of occasions, including wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, christenings, children’s parties, funerals, and business meetings.
Ideally located with easy access to major motorways, Manchester International Airport, and local railway stations, the club is a convenient choice for both private events and corporate functions. Set in a private countryside location, we offer ample parking, free Wi-Fi, and highly competitive rates, often more affordable than hotels.
Please note that we do not provide in-house catering. However, you are welcome to make your own arrangements, and we can recommend a selection of trusted local caterers.
We have two function rooms available:
Main Function Room – Ideal for larger events such as parties, weddings, christenings, and business meetings.
Small Function Room – Perfect for smaller gatherings, meetings, and conferences.

Our main function room is a spacious, versatile venue, comfortably accommodating up to 100 guests. The room measures 17m x 7.74m and is ideal for parties, celebrations, and larger gatherings.
The room hire includes access to 80 chairs and 24 tables, along with a well-equipped kitchen featuring a fridge, microwave, and cooker. Please note that crockery, utensils, and cutlery are not provided.
For added flexibility, the club’s fully licensed bar can be included as part of your booking, giving your guests access to our full bar facilities throughout your event.
We are pleased to recommend trusted local caterers, as we do not provide in-house catering.
To ensure smooth preparation for your event, access times must be arranged in advance with the Social Secretary. Please note that access is generally available from 11am onwards.
Sorry, but the main function room is not currently available for hire on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings.
For children’s celebrations, the main function room can accommodate small bouncy castles, subject to suitability and available space.
We kindly ask that you check with your bouncy castle provider that they hold appropriate insurance, as the club’s insurance does not cover inflatable equipment.
These milestone celebrations are very welcome in our main function room. A refundable £200 cash deposit is required at least 10 days prior to the event. This is returned after the function, following inspection of the room and kitchen area.
For everyone’s enjoyment and safety, we ask that at least two responsible adults supervise these events. Any damage may affect the return of the £200 deposit.
The club operates a strict no drugs policy on the premises, both inside and outside the building. If this policy is breached, the function will be stopped and guests will be asked to leave immediately.
We also ask that only drinks purchased on the premises are consumed at the event. Any external alcohol will be held until guests leave.
A space for those smaller, more formal gatherings.
Our smaller function room is an ideal space for meetings, small conferences, and focused group gatherings, comfortably accommodating around 15-20 attendees depending on layout and space requirements.
The room measures 7.5m x 4m and comes fully equipped with tables and chairs for your use. It also features a retractable projector screen, making it well suited for presentations and business use.
A quiet, practical space, it’s perfect when you need a more intimate setting within a well-connected and convenient venue.
