Sorry, but we cannot accommodate children’s parties on Saturdays

The Club's function rooms are available to hire for wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, christenings, children’s parties, funerals, business meetings etc. The Club is in an ideal location for business meetings and conferences, with easy access to motorways, Manchester International Airport and railway stations. There is ample parking available in a private countryside setting and we offer very good rates – a lot cheaper than hotels! The club also has free Wi-Fi access.

We do not provide in-house catering, so arrangements have to be made by yourselves, but we do have a list of recommended caterers

We have two function rooms available to hire:

  • The main function room: This is suitable for parties, christenings, weddings etc. but also for larger business meetings.

  • A smaller function room: This is suitable for meetings or small conferences etc.

The Main Function Room

The main function room is not available to hire on Wednesday evenings.

The main function room is spacious and can comfortably host up to 100 people. The room measures 17 meters long by 7.74 metres wide. The use of the club's fully licensed bar can be included in the room hire price if you require it. We also offer a large kitchen with a fridge, microwave and a range cooker, all of which are included in the room hire price. However, the hire of the kitchen does not include the use of crockery, utensils, cutlery etc. The room also has chairs and tables for your use, plus you will also have full use of the club's bar facilities.

Hirers cannot host their own bar, but you can bring along your own soft and alcoholic drinks at a corkage charge of £5 per bottle.

The hire of the room does not include the use of the in-house sound system. Hirers are expected to arrange their own DJ or sound equipment. We can provide you with a list of DJs we recommend.

Attendees are not permitted to use or hire the club's members lounge.

Access to prepare the room for your event must be arranged in advance with the Social Secretary. Please note that access to the function room will not be available before 11am.

18th & 21st Birthday Parties

The main function room is available for hosting 18th and 21st birthday parties, but a £200 returnable cash deposit is required in advance. The deposit will be returned after your function following an inspection of the function room and kitchen area by a club committee member. In addition, the club expects that at least two adults be present at your party to supervise. Any damage that is found will result in your £200 deposit not being returned.

Please note that the use of drugs on the club premises, inside or outside, is strictly forbidden. If any attendee is found to be using such substances then the function will be stopped and your party will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

Any attendee found to be consuming drinks that have not been purchased in the club will have the drink confiscated until they are ready to leave your event.

The Small Function Room

Our smaller function room can comfortably host around 20 attendees and is more suited to meetings and small conferences etc. The room has a projector screen, plus a projector is available to hire upon request at an additional cost. The room measures 7.5 metres long by 4 metres wide.
